Grand theft, Westside Boulevard

Between 8 a.m. and 1:25 p.m. Friday, an unknown suspect stole a green water tank with two white stars from a lot near the intersection of Westside Boulevard and Fourth Street. During the theft, the suspect also stole two axles. The tank was valued at $1,500 and the two axles at $500. No suspect information was available.

Carjacking, East Street

At 3 a.m. Sunday, a victim reports he and his friends were carjacked near Whiskey Creek Saloon at the intersection of Fifth and East streets. The victim said he was threatened by an unknown suspect with a gun who made them drive to Union Road where the car crashed. Police said the victim reported the incident two hours later. The car was later found by the California Highway Patrol and the case is still under investigation.

Attempted robbery, San Benito Street

At 12:30 a.m. Friday, two victims were approached by a masked male who demanded their laptops in the 800 block of San Benito Street near the Running Rooster. The suspect came from the area of Washington Street and appeared to have a firearm. When the suspect demanded their laptops, the victim said no. The suspect then fled the scene and jumped into a white pickup truck. He is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and around 180 pounds.

Assault with a deadly weapon, Valley View Road

At 10 p.m. Saturday, a victim was assaulted by a group of unknown male suspects in the 1500 block of Valley View Road. Due to the victim’s unwillingness to talk, police aren’t sure exactly what happened but the victim did end up with a laceration on his head. A witness said the victim was attacked by three suspects, two of which were possibly Caucasian males and the other a Hispanic male. The victim was transported to a Bay area hospital for treatment.
