On July 25, Hollister Police officers arrested Stephanie Partida, 25, in connection to an alleged stabbing in the 700 block of Busby Court. Police officers were called to the 700 block of Busby Court at about 11:50 p.m. for a report of a loud domestic argument. Upon arrival, officers found a blood trail leading to the front door of the apartment. Officers also observed a large amount of blood on the floor of the residence through a window.

Officers knocked on the door and identified themselves several times, but no one answered. All the lights were off and no movement was heard inside. Given the large amount of blood viewed in and around the dwelling, and the high likelihood that a person was injured inside, officers forced entry into the residence.

The alleged suspect, Stephanie Partida, was located inside the apartment. An adult male victim was also found inside with what appeared to be a large knife wound to his arm. Police interviewed the two individuals and Partida was subsequently arrested and booked on the charges of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.

The Hollister Police Department would like to thank the several citizens who called and reported the disturbance.
