Deadline approaches for Pinnacles restoration internship

The House of Representatives approved a bill that would rename Pinnacles National Monument to a national park. The bill now heads to the Senate.

Pinnacles National Park is seeking a habitat restoration intern, with a deadline approaching to apply.
The park is seeking 1-2 people for a habitat restoration crew. The work schedule is 40 hours weekly from February to July. Duties include invasive plant removal, native seed collection, collecting data and GPS mapping.
There is a weekly stipend and allows eligibility to the Americorps Education Award. Park housing may be available.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 8, though later applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
