A canvas of the area was initiated and Officer Miguel Masso located a man matching the description in a grassy field near the intersection of Hillcrest Road and Beverly Drive. The man was unresponsive and appeared to be deceased for some time.
The man was located just outside the city limits in San Benito County Jurisdiction. Detectives from the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office responded and processed the scene. The deceased man was identified and the cause of death is pending an autopsy.
