Almost everywhere you look, small formally littered lots as well as larger vacant parcels are being developed into new homes. As we drive around Morgan Hill there is everything from low income senior apartments to luxury homes and everything in between.

Family healthy after high-risk pregnancy of quadruplets, mother’s cancer

Connie Cooklin's Hollister home has been full of family members since her daughter Ashley Adams arrived for a visit with her quadruplets at the end of March. The babies – Samantha, Rylie, Braelynn and Wyatt – are 7 months old and they are beginning to scoot around their grandmother's house.

Reggiardo family celebrates 100 years

In the early 1900s, Giuseppe Reggiardo, also known as “Joe Tuna” or “Joe Regge” (born 1878), came from the little town of Tunno, in the province of Liguria in northern Italy. He left his sisters and family in Italy and departed with some sadness, but with high expectations that buoyed his sagging spirit.

Outpouring of support at fundraiser for the Carroll family

A steady stream of local residents visited the Target parking lot Wednesday afternoon to support the Heather Carroll Memorial Fund.

Family and friends of Heather Alaina Carroll took some time in the days after her death to share some personal memories of the 25-year-old Hollister woman. Carroll's mother-in-law Susan Carroll collected some personal stories from family and close friends.

Community rallies for Carroll family

Community members continued to rally around the Carroll family after the arrest of suspect David Quiroz Saturday who was arrested on murder charges in the disappearance of Heather Carroll, 25. An impromptu vigil was held at Dunne Park on Saturday and local residents have a fundraiser planned for Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Target parking lot on Airline Highway. The Wednesday event includes a bake sale and gift basket fundraiser that will benefit the Carroll family.
