San Benito County native
San Benito County native Deborah Parsons Nunez died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002 in Sparks, Nev. after a brief illness. She was 43.

Mrs. Nunez was born and raised in San Benito County. She attended local schools and graduated from San Benito High School in 1977. She enjoyed baking, crafts and camping.

She is survived by her husband of three years, Harold Nunez of Hollister; her children, Sarah and Elizabeth Tomlinson of Hollister and John Tomlinson Jr. of Colorado; her father, Robert J. Parsons of Hollister; her sisters, Karen Barnes of Hollister and Diane Voss of Iowa; a niece, a nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Adele Parsons, in 1975.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rev. Sam Rice of The Apostolic Full Gospel Church of Christ will officiate.

Private interment will be held Monday at the IOOF Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
