Hollister City Council members Monday are set to consider forming a seven-member Youth Committee, according to an agenda.
The members would range in age from 12 to 18—members would have to live or attend school in the city—and would act in an advisory role to the council on matters affecting youth.
Is it expected there would be monthly meetings and two-year terms, with a maximum of three terms.
Council members are set to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.
