The victim of a car accident is taken out by backboard Monday morning by emergency workers after the two-car crash on McCray Street.

An adult male was injured seriously in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning on McCray Street near the Save Mart shopping center.
The accident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of McCray Street.
There were two vehicles involved – a sport utility vehicle and a Honda. The SUV struck the passenger side of the car, which contained the man who was injured.
Responders to the scene included the Hollister Police Department, Hollister Fire Department and an ambulance crew.
Responders carefully removed the injured man using a backboard, though his condition was unclear as of press time.
The accident occurred at the entrance to the parking lot off McCray Street near Autozone.
