Second Honors go to students who have earned between a 3.0 and 3.49 GPA. Local students with second honors are as follows:

Eighth-grader Kyle Harrigan

Mollie Norton has been named 2003 Community Service Award Youth Volunteer of the Year by the York School. Norton serves the Salvation Army Monterey Peninsula Corps Youth Center, where she has provided more than 100 hours of volunteer service in their after-school program.

“Mollie shares her enthusiasm of volunteerism by recruiting and bringing in new volunteers to the youth Center or to help with the Salvation Army’s Thanksgiving food basket distribution,” a Salvation Army representative said.
