The Balers’ lone wins came at No. 1 doubles, where Kyle Skinner and Eric Johnson defeated Michael Liu and Aaron Moss 6-4, 6-2; and at No. 3 doubles, where Jacob and Andrew Panger upended Jonathan Park and Aaron Gin 6-0, 6-0.
The No. 2 doubles team of Sunny Singh and Brian Becerra, meanwhile, lost their match to Matt Perlman and Alex Wolf 6-3, 5-7 and 10-4 in the third-set tiebreaker. It was the first loss of the season for Singh and Becerra.
At singles, Salinas earned four straight victories to seal Thursday’s win.
Sebastian Tasano swept Jacob Garcia 6-1, 6-0; Ty Giacalone downed Geoff Muzik 6-1, 6-1; Jeff Reeds defeated Alex Reilly 6-1, 6-0; and Tyler Bachelder topped Nick Trillo 6-1, 6-3.
San Benito is now 5-3 in the Tri-County Athletic League, 6-5 overall.
The Balers are scheduled to return to the court Monday when they will host Monterey at the Ridgemark Golf and Country Club. Match time is 4 p.m.
