on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
A 3.1-magnitude earthquake hit near Pinnacles National Monument on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake occurred at 1:20 a.m. and about two miles north/northwest from the Pinnacles in San Benito County.

It occurred at a depth of 2.5 miles.
