Steven P. Martin Jr., 68, of Albany died suddenly at his home on Oct. 19th, 2011. He is survived by his three daughters, Bonnie McArthur, Wendy Joy, and Lisa Beck; his three grand-daughters, Lyndsey Austin, Brianna Joy and Kayla Joy; his mother Annie Martin of Atwater, CA; his brother Anthony Martin of Atwater, CA, his sister Marilyn Calkins of Fresno, CA, and his ex-wife Fayette Martin and many in-laws.
Steve was born and raised in Gilroy, CA and moved to Oregon in 1989. He worked most of his life in construction and later farming a filbert orchard in Millersburg, OR.
Steve loved hunting, fishing, cooking, spending time at his home in Toledo, OR and most of all being with his family and friends.
Steve was a hard worker who loved to share his accomplishments with everyone. We’ll miss his fun-loving attitude and company.
The funeral will be held on Wed. Oct. 26, 2011, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Albany, OR at 2:30 P.M.
