Born in Independence, KS, Chuck was a professional piano player before earning a bachelors degree in Mathematics from UCLA. He was a world traveler and avid golfer. He enjoyed fishing with his brother, Carl out of Moss Landing. He retired at 62 from IBM as a programmer and spent his retirement at his lakeside home on Uvas Rd.
He passed away at 1:15 P.M., 2/23/10 with wife, Jackie and daughter, Caroline, by his side. He is survived by his 3rd wife Jackie and sons Charles and Bernard; children with his 2nd wife Maria Louise Seacat (d.1/10/81): Caroline and daughter Natalie Matsche, Christian, sons Christian and Marley Seacat; children with his 1st wife Jana Smith (d.3/14/08): Alysoun Seacat, Melaney Seacat and son Casey, Andrew and wife Hui, daughters Sara and Julia.
He will be remembered for his penetrating blue eyes, sharp-wit (I.E. “frugal ways = service = disservice, but thanks anyway”), kind generosity and most of all – his love for his family. We LOVE you Dad!
