At 6:20 p.m. Sunday police responded to a report of two men
stealing groceries and butcher meat from a deli near the 200 block
of San Felipe Road. The men escaped into a getaway car that was
running. Police have no suspects.
Burglary, Highland Drive
Police responded to a report of two car break-ins near the 2100 block of Highland Drive at 7 a.m. Friday. The two cars were only houses away from each other and their front windows were broken. In both cars, purses were stolen and items missing include cosmetics and personal paperwork. The police are still investigating.
Burglary, Hall Avenue
At around 8 a.m. Friday police responded to a report of a car break-in near the 1400 block of Hall Avenue. The reporting parting said that his window was broken and a laptop, power tools and $1,000 worth of hand tools were taken. Police have no suspect information at this time and are still investigating.
Petty Theft, Apricot Lane
Police responded to a report of theft near the 1000 block of Apricot Lane at 8 p.m. Friday. The reporting party discovered that their car’s registration, pink slip and manual booklet were stolen. The car had no sings of a forced entry. The police have no suspect information.
Burglary, San Benito Street
Just after 8:30 a.m. police responded to a report of a man taking recyclables from a person’s home garage near the 1100 block of San Benito Street. A witness saw the man walk into the garage and take bags full of recyclables. The homeowner confirmed the items were missing. The police are still investigating.
Petty Theft, San Juan Road
At 10 a.m. Saturday police responded to two female juveniles stealing a person’s cell phone near the 1200 block of San Juan Road. The two girls asked the person if they could borrow the phone and once they were handed it, they took off down the street. Police are still investigating.
Disorderly Conduct, Airline Highway
Police responded to a call of public disturbance at Target at 3 p.m. Saturday. The woman had fallen asleep at the Target food court. When officers arrived they smelled alcohol and the woman was unresponsive. The officers called medics to check the woman before they took her into custody for being drunk in public.
Vandalism, South Street
Just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday police reported a house vandalism near the 1000 block of South Street. The house’s sliding door window was smashed and the homeowner complained of gunfire. Officers investigated but found no evidence of a bullet. Police are still investigating.
Offensive words, East Street
Police responded to a verbal argument at 10:30 p.m. Saturday near the 400 block of East Street. Two Bikers got into an unknown argument and when police arrived were pushing each other. The bikers got into an argument after two large crowds ran into each other, the crowds dispersed and the two bikers got into a verbal and physical fight. Both were cited.
Vehicle Theft, Marne Drive
Police reported a stolen vehicle at 3:30 Sunday near the 1000 block of Marne Drive. A witness saw two men breaking into a silver Silverado and smashing its front blinking lights. The two suspects fled the scene in the far. The witness described one of the men as a 5-foot-8-inch Hispanic male, wearing a flannel shirt. Police are sill investigating.
Petty Theft, Tres Pinos Road
Police responded to a report of two female juveniles stealing cosmetics at 4:45 p.m. Sunday a the Kmart on Tres Pinos Road. The two females took the cosmetics out of the packaging and put them into their purses. The Kmart security took them into custody and the police cited and called their parents.

Disorderly Conduct, Sixth Street
At 7:30 p.m. Sunday near the 200 block of Sixth Street, police responded to a woman who was face-to-the-ground asleep on the sidewalk. When officers approached the woman they could smell alcohol and when they awoke her, she slurred her speech. Police took her into custody.
Burglary, Central Avenue
Just after 1 a.m. Monday police responded to a report of a home break-in near the 1600 block of Central Avenue. The house’s door was kicked in and the house was littered with gang-related graffiti. No items were reported stolen. Police have no suspects.
