Police responded to a report of a juvenile under the influence
of alcohol on the campus of San Benito High School at 9:30 a.m.
Monday. The student got involved in a vocal disturbance with
another student. Teachers smelled alcohol on the student and called
the police. The student was cited.
Under the Influence, Monterey Street

Forged Prescription, Airline Highway

At around 3:30 p.m. Monday, police responded to a report of a person trying to use a forged prescription of a controlled substance at Target. When officers arrived they determined the prescription was altered. The man was booked into jail.

Petty Theft, Fourth Street

Police responded at 6 p.m. Monday to a report of nearly $100 being stolen from the 300 block of Fourth Street. The money was in a cash box that was taken some time after noon Monday. Police have no suspects.

Petty Theft, San Juan Drive

Just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded when three juveniles walked into a store in the 1300 block of San Juan Drive and took four 18 packs of Bud Light before running out of the store. The three suspects, described as Hispanic, were wearing all black and took off toward the direction of Mission Oaks Mobile Home Park. Police are still investigating.

Burglary, Tres Pinos Road

At around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, police reported to Safeway after a car break-in was discovered. The door was pried open and a purse was missing. Inside the purse was $2 in cash and an assortment of credit cards. There are no suspects at this time.

Credit Fraud, Tres Pinos Road

Police reported at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday that a woman filed a complaint that her credit card had unauthorized charges at a gas station on the 400 block of Tres Pinos Road in January, March and April. Police are investigating the crime.

Threat, Rancho Drive

At 9:30 a.m. Wednesday police reported that a ex-student showed up on the Ranch San Justo School campus and got into an argument with an employee. The student was asked to leave, but ignored the request until police were called.

Fraud, Fourth Street

At 3 p.m. Wednesday, police responded when a man ate and left without paying at a restaurant on the 200 block of Fourth Street. The man ordered and ate $40 in food before leaving the restaurant. Officers found and arrested the man.

Obstruction, Clearview Drive

Just after 3:30 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of a man wondering through back yards near the 800 block of Clearview Drive. When police arrived, they watched a car leave the area suspiciously. While searching for the trespasser, a man was seen walking on the sidewalk. When police talked to the man, he gave a false identity and when searched, the police discovered marijuana. The man parked the suspicious vehicle near the area and was confirmed to be walking through the back yards. Police took him into custody.
