Police responded to a report at noon Monday near the 600 block
of Monte Carlo Drive after owners complained of a missing video
game system after a guest had left. The guest had stayed with the
friends for three days before leaving. Afterward, the video game
system was missing. The case is still under investigation.

Police responded to a report at noon Monday near the 600 block of Monte Carlo Drive after owners complained of a missing video game system after a guest had left. Theft, Tres Pinos Road
At 2 p.m. Monday, police responded to Kmart after surveillance workers caught a man taking an electric razor out of its case and putting it into his jacket pocket. When the officers were in route, the man escaped into the Kmart parking lot, running away from the workers. Police described the suspect as a 55- to 60-year-old Hispanic man with gray hair and a mustache.
Resisting arrest, Live Oak Drive
Near the first block of Live Oak Drive on Monday at 10:30 p.m., officers were at a DUI stop when a group of juveniles were approaching the stop. When officers told the juveniles to go around the stop, one juvenile, who smelled of alcohol, responded by cursing at the officers and ignoring what they had said. When officers contacted the juvenile, he resisted. Officers took the juvenile into custody.
Annoying text messages, San Felipe Road
Officers responded at 11 a.m. Tuesday near the 100 block of San Felipe Road to a report of constant annoying text messages. Over the course of the day, the person received 45 text messages from a person they knew, spreading unwanted rumors. When police intervened, a compromise was agreed upon.
Vandalism, San Felipe Road
In the first block of San Felipe Road, police responded to a report of car vandalism at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect parked his car next to another car and opened his door, crashing it into the neighboring car. The suspect and reporting party then got into an argument about parking spaces. The report is still under investigation.
Burglary, San Benito Street
Between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. near the 400 block of San Benito Street on Wednesday, police responded to a report of a car break-in. When the owner of the car returned to her vehicle, the passenger window was smashed and her purse was stolen. Inside the purse were credit cards, IDs and a checkbook. There is no suspect information at this time.
Burglary, San Felipe Road
Police responded to a report Wednesday near the 200 block of San Felipe Road after a motor home was broken into during the past month. The motor home, which was in a storage yard, was missing a coffee maker, clothing and linens, including pillows. There is no suspect information at this time.
Suspicious actions, Talbot Drive
Police responded to a report near the 400 block of Talbot Drive at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after a woman complained a man was following her. The woman went for her nightly walk when a man started following her on foot before getting into his car and following her in the car. Police described the car as a white pickup and the man as a Hispanic male in his late 30s.
Under the Influence, Meridian Street
Around 4 a.m. Thursday, police arrested a man after he tried to hide from the police near the 1200 block of Meridian Street. The suspect was riding a bicycle through the street, when an officer drove by. Once the suspect saw the officer, he hid behind some bushes. The officer then contacted the man and discovered he was under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect was then arrested.
