Barbara Yancey Card, 77 of Newman passed away Sunday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Mrs. Card was a native of Escalante, Utah and a resident of Newman for 2 years. She previously lived in Gilroy for 40 years. She was a Homemaker for 57 years and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Crows Landing.

Mrs. Card is survived by her sons, John Card of Gustine, Larry Card of Newman, Robert Card of Newman, Scott Card of San Jose; brother, Theodore S. Barney of Las Vegas; sister, Chlora Conn of Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Card who passed away in 2004 and daughter Loralee Card who passed away in 2008.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:30 A.M.,Tuesday, January 13th followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Crows Landing 1st Branch. Interment to follow at 1:30 P.M. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine.
