Possession, Westside Boulevard and Jills Court

Deputies on a traffic stop at 12:18 p.m. Friday discovered 29.85 grams of methamphetamine and a tool used to punch out a vehicle’s ignition and arrested a 38-year-old Hollister man on suspicion of the following: possession of a controlled substance, possession of a burglary tool, intent to sell or manufacture and possession of narcotics for sale.

Possession in a vehicle, San Felipe Road

Deputies cited an 18-year-old Hollister man at 8:06 p.m. Friday on suspicion of possession of marijuana in a vehicle. Deputies at San Felipe Road and Santa Ana Road stopped a 1993 Honda Accord and recovered 0.28 grams of marijuana.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Theft, Frazier Lake Road

A resident in the 5000 block of Frazier Lake Road reported at 7:30 a.m. Friday that someone had stolen $183 in diesel gas from a tractor by cutting off a lock and using a siphon. There is no suspect information at this time.

Recovered gun, Panoche Road

Deputies on Thursday afternoon recovered a .45 caliber Springfield handgun in a separate case believed to be stolen and returned it to the owner in the 6000 block of Panoche Road.

Burglary, Olympia Avenue

At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Olympia Drive someone reported music CDs, a cell phone charger and a GPS unit stolen from a vehicle, with an estimated total loss of $425.
