Karina Cervantez Alejo, the wife of current 30th District Assembly Luis Alejo, has announced her candidacy for his seat representing San Benito County.
Luis Alejo, who is termed out after his current term, announced his wife’s candidacy for his seat on Twitter. Alejo’s term expires at the end of 2016.
Cervantez Alejo is currently a councilwoman in Watsonville.
