Hollister police responded to Central Avenue and Ranchito Drive at an unspecified time Saturday night after they received reports of shots fired and found a juvenile victim who apparently had been hit by a bullet in the nose.
The police investigation revealed the address of the shooting victim, a juvenile. When police responded to his address, they found that his nose had been injured by one of the shots, but that the injury was minor.
The nature and severity of the injury was unclear, but the victim was conscious. Police emphasized that witnesses had been uncooperative.
