A San Juan Bautista man has been charged on suspicion of practicing medicine without a license along with other charges.
The San Benito County District Attorney’s charged Slave Petkovski on suspicion of practicing medicine without a license along with separate assault with a deadly weapon charges with one incidence causing great bodily injury, according to records. In total, there were 11 felony charges.
The suspect ran a massage therapy business at 301 The Alameda in San Juan Bautista.
The district attorney’s office, which charged Petkovski in late August, alleged six counts of practicing medicine without a license between May 2013 and April 2014, according to court records.
The suspect was set to appear before a San Benito County judge for a continued arraignment Thursday afternoon.
He had his bail set at $270,000 and remains in custody at the San Benito County Jail.
