Editor,

The story “The Well-being of the Webbed” was not only fascinating, but well-written and accurate. I’ve just published a book “Frogs: Inside their Remarkable World,” where threats to amphibians of the tail-less kind are detailed and discussed. And your writer has touched on just about every threat to frog-kind – indeed all beings on this planet. No place to live, nothing to eat makes for not much of a life – if any.

Thanks again for such a sensitive article. As Kermit, perhaps the most famous spokes-amphibian, reminds us “It’s not easy being green.” But it is so incredibly necessary.
