The golf swing will not work if you try to push the club through using your right hand. It often causes a grip that is way too tight and therefore lacks the fluidity and snap necessary to hit the ball long. Have you ever tried to tightly squeeze a baseball and attempt to throw it? The results probably were not as good as they would have been had you just gently gripped the ball and let it roll off your fingertips.
In many of today’s cars, front wheel drive is much more efficient than rear wheel drive. In the case of the golf swing, pulling the club through with your left hand to hit the ball will work much better than pushing with your right hand. Also, it is much more natural to pull the club using your left shoulder because it lets your hips help on the swing as well. The left hip pulling toward the target helps bring the club through.
So use the front side of your swing and pull the club through. Don’t use the back side and push it.
