It looks like things haven’t changed much from the old Board of
Supervisors to the new board, when it comes to the treatment of
legitimate businesses (the casino) in San Benito County.
Our Board of Supervisors did not have the courtesy or the common
sense to give the casino proponents a chance to present their
proposal before presenting a resolution to run them out of
town.
Dear Editor,
It looks like things haven’t changed much from the old Board of Supervisors to the new board, when it comes to the treatment of legitimate businesses (the casino) in San Benito County.
Our Board of Supervisors did not have the courtesy or the common sense to give the casino proponents a chance to present their proposal before presenting a resolution to run them out of town.
Maybe what Sheriff Hill, the members of CRAPS and the Board of Supervisors need is a day in the field with a short hoe. Then they would think twice before chasing these jobs out of our county into the neighboring county.
