I read that John Sarsfield, AKA Johnny Starbucks, wanted $4, 200
for coffee for one year. I have in my hands a 34 oz can of Maxwell
French Roast that serves 270 cups. At $5.99, that works out to 701
cans of coffee per year for the district attorney. Divided by 52
weeks, that works out to 13 cans a week or a whopping 3,640 cups of
coffee a week!
Editor,

This will cost the taxpayer thousands of dollars in more county urinals.
With that much coffee, you could serve the entire work force of Hollister and still have enough for a third Starbucks. Its smacks of the $75 nail the government used to buy.
There is an old saying: you can take the baboon out of the jungle but you can’t take the jungle out of the baboon. So if the district attorney can’t go to Starbucks, he will bring Starbucks to the office.
People of San Benito County, wake up and smell the coffee, this guy needs to go, period.
