“We passed the ball very well tonight and kept a good tempo up all night,” said Baler coach Tom Dean. “Our defense was very good also. It forced NMC to shoot from the outside the whole game.”
Mallorie Wilson and Jaime Hall had eight rebounds each. Cortney Almaguer had six. Jaime Flores and Dani Andrewson had four rebounds and three assists each. Johni Kieswetter, Ashley Patton, Andee Walton and Jennifer Anaya all played a very good defensive game, Dean said.
The next game is against visiting Monterey on Monday. It will be the last game before league begins.
