The Democratic Party is in an uproar about this gay marriage debacle and do not want this happening in an election year. Hopefully, this gay marriage issue will alert the citizens of our country that it is now time to take our voice to the ballot box and make the changes that are needed to right the wrongs the liberal minority has managed to impose on the silent majority.
You as a parent of a young family must step up and stop the assault on your children, be it on TV or in our schools. You senior citizens need to step up to defend the moral fabric of our country. We cannot be complacent anymore.
Do not let these activists flout our laws! The culture of our country is under attack. We as a people cannot allow a few frocked unelected judges to undermine existing laws or making laws. That is not their duty. They are to follow the law.
I understand the emotions one hold onto when they declare they are following the footsteps of their forefathers. My 89-year-old mother was a lifelong Democrat following family footsteps. A few years ago, she stated the party deserted her principals of what the Democratic Party stood for. Her anguish was real and she doesn’t vote anymore.
If any of you reading this letter can relate to this, I offer you an alternative. Change your party affiliation to Republican. The Republican Party has become what the Democratic Party used to be. Join President Bush to help stop the attack on the moral and character value of our country. Don’t forget to vote March 2.”
“Wednesday, Feb. 25 was a stormy, windy, rainy, muddy day and Community Pantry Distribution Day at Vets Park. Few regular workers showed up to unload the trucks and bag the food. But, a crew of workers from Milgard gave up their lunch hour and work time and stood in the mud and got soaked from the rain to unload and bag that food.
Three cheers to those workers. If they hadn’t been there, there probably wouldn’t have been a distribution at all. Thanks, Milgard. You saved the day.”

Just one problem, I guess all of those out-of-town people spending their money to try to run our lives didn’t know that the county is not connected to the sewer!
Yes, you guessed it. Hollister is connected to the sewer, and Measure G with its fancy TDC program will concentrate more houses around the City of Hollister.
Oh, and that is another thing. Since they crafted it in secret, they did not contact the City of Hollister and ask if the city would participate in their TDC program. My guess is that the city will say NO, because they haven’t gotten any of their own problems straightened out yet!
One more thing, I checked out Yes on G filing reports, and your big full page mailers are not even listed and they are costing a lot more than you are getting in. I didn’t see any forms for your last minute expenses for the TV ad either. Those need to be filed within 24 hours. It is called the Fair Political Practices for a reason. Let us see exactly how much more outside money you are taking in.
