“I voted against Measure G because I was told that the farmers had a better measure planned. Now I hear at least one of their members wants to have a reconciliation cocktail party. This is not what is needed. The time for a reconciliation meeting is after a new piece of legislation preserving our county’s farmland is passed. Not late this year. But soon! I hope the truth is being told – that they really have either a ballot measure or, even better, a proposed plan for passage by the current Board of Supervisors. In the meantime, let all sides have respect for each other.”
