Q: With political races coming up, what do you think is the most pressing local issue for politicians to address?
A: “I think one of the big issues here that came up is this growth issue, and it seems that it turned into a political battle between landowners and land developers. I still feel that the person that has owned the property in this county for generations has the right to do with it what they want”
A: “Health care for the elderly and immigration status, letting people get visas so they can work over here and also allowing illegal immigrants to get driver’s licenses so it’s not so dangerous.”
A: “The issue of not having anything to do in this town. When I was a kid, there was nothing, and now they complain about the same thing. They should have built a community pool indoors so everyone could use it year round. I don’t know about the city council. Sometimes I think they have their heads on backwards.”
A: “There are a lot of issues here, and there isn’t one single issue that I can pick out.”
A: “I am so involved in so many different things, I don’t really have time to pay attention to politics.”
