Dear Editor:

Under what justification did we go into Iraq without any imminent threat by Iraq toward the United States? And why the hurry?

Administration decided to hurry into Iraq because we were told Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and that Iraq purchased uranium from Niger, Africa. There has been no evidence of the presence of weapons of mass destruction, and the uranium story turned out to be a forged report.

What did President Bush know about this uranium report and when did he know? He presented this report as a fact that Iraq had purchased uranium from Africa, while giving his State of the Union speech.

Did Bush know this report was untrue and a forgery approximately seven months previous to his State of the Union speech?

We need an intensive investigation of any possibility that the United States was led into war under false pretenses. Then we can determine: Should impeachment be considered?
