Ray T. Bojorques died at his Greenfield home Tuesday, Sept. 30. He was 72.

Bojorques was born in Hollister in 1931. He was a retired landscaper.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Aircorps, past president of the Greenfield Rotary Club from 1984-85, former horseshoe champion – Class I Champion – and an avid San Francisco 49ers football fan.

He is survived by his daughters Nancy Capetillo of Salinas and Cindy Bojorques of Turlock; sons John Bojorques of Salinas and Vincent Bojorques of Turlock; sisters Marie Espinosa of Salinas, Juanita Ramirez of Hollister and Vera Espinosa of Santa Maria. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Christina Bojorques, sister Isabel Littlejohn and brother Richard Bojorques.

A memorial service will be held Monday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at the VFW Hall, Post 7895, 242 Williams Road in Salinas.

Arrangements were by Struve and Laporte Chapel.
