Ever wonder what the freshmen think about San Benito High School?
Here are a couple of words from the class of 2008:
Isela Bradley said she liked the school, that it was so much different from middle school. She said it was a good environment and the teachers are great.
Bradley said there were great extracurricular activities.
Another student, Stephanie Duran, said she loved SBHS because it was a good experience for her. SBHS is a good place to meet new friends. Also, the school has a good teaching program.
Well, so far the freshmen think it’s a really good campus.
Josh Schaecher said he’s made 15 different friends already. Schaecher told me SBHS was also a good experience for him. He is really happy he is not in middle school anymore.
The high school seems to be pretty great. Now, here’s a student who hates the school.
Dimitri Huizar said the school is a boring place and she wants to go back to middle school. Huizar said she doesn’t like some people at SBHS.
Don’t worry, Dimitri, it will get better – take it from a sophomore.
The students will eventually get used to the campus. Until then, keep going to school, get into school activities and have fun.
Oh, and, freshmen, get ready for the BLT – more to come …
Arlene Gamboa is a sophomore at San Benito High School.
