Hollister and San Juan Bautista Wednesday, the strongest in a
series of 3.0 and smaller quakes that have rattled the region in
recent days.

Preliminary reports indicated the quake was on the San Andreas Fault five miles west-southwest of Hollister. The quake hit at 6:34 a.m. There were no reports of damages.
It comes after a 3.0 temblor rattled San Juan Bautista on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
