Hollister resident
Ruben G. Macias died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002 at his home in Hollister. He was 51.
Mr. Macias was born in Eloy, Ariz. He came to Hollister 1 1/2 years ago to live with his daughter after the onset of his illness. He had previously lived in San Miguel for three years.
He is survived by his children, Cathy Lara and her husband David of Hollister, Ruben Macias Jr. and Raymond Flores, both of Oregon; his parents, Paul Macias of Arizona and Nancy Macias of Atascadero; his brothers and sisters, Paul Macias Jr. of Arizona, Robert, Rudy and Maggie Macias, all of San Bernadino, Lupe Macias of Oklahoma, Mary Juarez of Atascadero and Pauline and Martha Macias, both of Modesto; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Macias.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Victory Outreach, 626 Sixth St. Pastor Steve Beltran will officiate.
Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.
