Services held
Father Ed Fitz-Henry officiated at a Mass Thursday morning at Old Mission San Juan Bautista for Mervin S. “Spots” Spotswood, who died Nov. 30 at the age of 97.

Burial and graveside services followed at San Juan District Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Dias Jr., Anthony Botelho, Bobby Avilla, Larry Cain, Tom Menghini and Bill Hooton. Honorary pallbearers were Harvey S. Nyland and Leonard Caetano.
