Assembly Luis Alejo partnered with the California Legislative Women’s Caucus to celebrate Women’s History Month by naming Abby Taylor-Silva as the assembly district’s woman of the year
Taylor-Silva has ties to San Benito and Monterey counties and serves as vice president of policy and communications for the Grower-Shippers Association of Central California. Alejo’s 30th district includes San Benito County and other areas in the region.
The agricultural trade organization represents 340 members, according to Alejo’s office. The assemblyman honored Taylor-Silva during a ceremony at the Capitol.
