Dear Editor,

It deeply disturbs me that the district attorney, who is supposed to be for the people, is bashing and bad mouthing my grandfather and not defending him. This country is about justice for all, not for some who are friends with the DA.

Sarsfield had it in his power to stop before the plea was entered in court. He could have stood up for the man he is supposed to be defending and let the judge know he needs the family to be present to continue. But he didn’t. This is why we are fighting. We want justice for our grandfather!

My grandpa was a very loving man. We miss him so much it hurts. All we ask is that the fate of these two men accused of murder be judged by a jury of 12 of their peers.
