June 2 was the fourth annual PJ Galvan Alumni Classic game played between the 2007 Hollister Balers varsity baseball team and a team formed from some of the Baler alumni.

The Alumni Classic was created four years ago to honor the late Paul “PJ” Galvan who died in a car accident in 2003. Each year, the night consists of a home run derby and a game that follows. There is a fundraiser throughout the night and all of the proceeds go to the PJ Galvan Scholarship Fund.
