San Benito County supervisors this week ratified an array of
appointments to committees.
After she was elected chairwoman of the board Tuesday,
Supervisor Margie Barrios made her recommendations for the
assignments.

After she was elected chairwoman of the board Tuesday, Supervisor Margie Barrios made her recommendations for the assignments.

They include the following:

Anthony Botelho and Robert Rivas are on the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments, with Jerry Muenzer as alternate.

Robert Rivas is on the behavioral health board.

Barrios represents the board for the California State Association of Counties, with Jaime De La Cruz as alternate.

Muenzer is on the CDBG rehab committee.

Barrios is on the Children’s & Families/First 5 commission.

Rivas is on the revolving loan fund committee.

De La Cruz is on the comprehensive economic development strategy committee.

Botelho and De La Cruz are on the Council of San Benito County Governments, with Rivas as alternative.

Barrios and Botelho are on the county facilities committee.

Botelho is on the emergency medical care commission.

De La Cruz and Rivas are on the finance committee.

Barrios and Rivas are on the gang prevention coordinator policy committee.

Barrios and Muenzer are on the governance committee.

De La Cruz is on the juvenile justice commission.

Muenzer is on the Hollister Hills advisory committee.

Barrios and Rivas are on the intergovernmental committee.

Barrios and Botelho are on the local agency formation commission, or LAFCO, with Rivas as alternate.

Botelho is on the local task force – for integrated waste management issues.

Muenzer is on the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District board, with De La Cruz as alternate.

De La Cruz represents the board for the National Association of Counties, with Muenzer as alternate.

Barrios is on the Pajaro River Watershed Flood Prevention Authority.

Botelho represents the board for the Regional Council of Rural Counties.

De La Cruz and Muenzer are on the redevelopment agency revolving loan fund board.

De La Cruz and Muenzer are on the Veterans Park commission.

Botelho is on the West Nile virus task force.
