in his campaign chest than the other two candidates combined in
preparation for the November 4 election.

Through Sept. 30, Roy Iler had raised the most money among three candidates for the District 5 seat on the Hollister City Council, according to campaign finance statements submitted before a 5 p.m. Monday deadline.
In raising $10,586 through the most recent disclosure period – Jan 1 through Sept. 30 – the sheriff’s office lieutenant had nearly twice as much money in his campaign chest than the other two candidates combined in preparation for the November 4 election.
Victor Gomez, franchise owner of the local Papa Murphy’s, raised the least among the three with $1,464 while he spent $892. He had a remaining cash balance of $376, according to the documents.
David Huboi, a local architect and planning commissioner, raised $4,188 while he spent $4,280. He had a remaining cash balance of $1,363, according to the documents.
And Iler spent $7,279 and had $3,306 left in his account, according to his disclosure statement.
