Cannella announces ‘There Ought to Be a Law’ contest

State Sen. Anthony Cannella has announced his “There Ought to a Be a Law” contest “to provide constituents the opportunity to present ideas for new legislation,” according to announcement from his office.
That statement notes that Cannella, R-Ceres, will sponsor legislation from winning submissions.
The deadline for submission is Dec. 20. Winners will be invited up to Sacramento to testify at a hearing on their bills.
