This letter is in response to the letter in the Oct. 28 paper
regarding leaving her 3-year-old in a car unattended in Tres Pinos.
You honestly believe that leaving you child in a car UNATTENDED is
OK? It takes a split second for a child to choke on an object. A
split second for someone to scoop your child out of the car. A
split second that someone could hit your car accidentally. A split
second for anything to happen but you were only gone for 30
seconds!! So if any of these horrific things would have happened
should we all feel so sorry for you? No.
According to your letter EVERYONE in Tres Pinos does it
– I doubt that. And just because the law states you can leave
your child for only a minute doesn’t mean we should do it!
As a parent of three children under the age of 7, I would never
leave them unattended EVER. And also who is this police officer? I
would be very concerned if a local police officer had this attitude
about the welfare of the children living in Tres Pinos.

Is there any truth to the rumor of another subdivision being proposed behind Ridgemark? These secret investors are to very quietly include ‘Boss Hog.'”

Why doesn’t San Benito County print the minutes of their Board meetings on their Internet Web site like the FPPC does?

“You’re absolutely right. Sanders should toss out the lawsuits and leave it to the voters in March. I think we voters are all smart enough to see through the crap thrown out by the Vigilantes and their attorney Mike Pekin.
As for Scagliotti, if there is a problem, we elected him four times and have nobody to blame but ourselves.
