Citing the series of recent lawsuits filed against local businesses over disability-act compliance, the city is hosting an informational meeting.

The meeting is set for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 15 at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St., after a slew of lawsuits have been filed against businesses alleging those shops aren’t complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

According to the press release:

The City of Hollister invites you to attend an informational meeting and hear Brent Hipsher, a Certified Access Specialist, tell you about the Americans with Disabilities Act and your rights. Spanish language translation will be provided.
