Hollister council members Monday are set to consider bid proposals for a $3.2 million runway reconstruction funded by a federal grant.
Council members will consider the airport runway matter at their 6:30 p.m. Monday meeting at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.
A staff report on the item says the city airport is eligible for the $3.2 million in Federal Aviation Administration grant funding to do the project to runway 13-31 at the Hollister Municipal Airport. The grant comes with a local match of 10 percent, or $325,350, according to the city.
