Emil Henry Kessler was born in Buffalo, NY on July 20, 1907 and died peacefully in California on February 2, 2010.
He was married for 67 years to the late Marian F. Kessler (Achatz). He is survived by his children Barbara A. Graham, Karen M. Tavares and Kenneth (Elizabeth) L. Kessler. He had four wonderful grandchildren, Mark (Kelly) Graham, Christopher, Abigail and the late Whitney Kessler.
He lived with his daughter Karen for the past 10 years. Six of those were spent in California where he sat in the sun most days and went for daily car rides.
As a young man, he enjoyed baseball and speed skating.
In his adult years, fishing was a source of great enjoyment.
Emil was an honest, decent, content man. He had a wonderful sense of humor, even until his last day. He never had a negative word to say about anyone or anything. Every memory of him is a happy one and will be cherished forever.
