Born in Brooklyn, New York, Emilia moved to Gilroy from Delaware to enjoy semi-retirement.

A ten year cancer survivor, Emilia courageously fought cancer again but lost the battle on October 29th, 2008

While in California, she enjoyed her vegetable garden, her dog Bruno, brief volunteering at Saint Louise Regional Hospital and a part-time job at the Gilroy Outlets.

Emilia is survived by her daughters, Pamela Leonardi(Frank)of Gilroy, Beth Warlo(Joseph) of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; sons, Ronald Robinson(Barbara)of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, David Robinson(Elizabeth) of Wallingford, Pennsylvania, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on the East Coast. Donations can be made in Emilia’s honor to Hospice of the Valley in San Jose.
