I am very grateful to the big stores that shut down their business on Monday.
The small businesses too, Hollister Super, Baller Market, El Nopa, that had just been closed for several days prior, and my biggest thanks from the heart to Earthbound Farm that voluntarily shut down. My respect and gratitude to everyone that responded in this manner to support our struggle for legalizing of our farm workers, so they can have the privilege of driving license and buy auto insurance and be legal and productive U.S. citizens.
Thanks to the spontaneous group at 4th and San Benito Street for their support on Monday at 5pm. I wish they reached out to the rest of the community for input.
