Herman H. Vasquez passed away Tuesday afternoon at the age of 76 at the Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born In Atwood, California, coming to Hollister 19 years ago. Herman had been a foster grandparent to children through a program administered by the state of California and formerly was a cemetery caretaker. He id survived by his wife, Lillian Vasquez of Hollister, 5 children and several grand and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. and Tuesday morning from 9 A.M. until services at 1 P.M. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, CA..
