Fr. Rudy Ruiz officiated at the mass of Christian Burial at
Sacred Heart Church on Friday Dec. 3rd for Mr. Joseph Filice who
passed away in Hollister on Nov. 29 at the age of 91.
Michael Conley and Rosalyn Oates provided the musical selections
during the mass as well as during the Hollister Lodge No 1436, BPOE
memorial service immediately following the mass.

As the family and friends exited the church, military honors were conducted by Hollister Post No. 9242, VFW.
Private cremation and arrangements for the services were conducted through Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory. Representatives from San Benito Sheriff’s Office stood at honor guard to the entrance of Sacred Heart Church before, during and after the mass as a tribute to Joseph Filice.
