Learning from others
This letter is to express my opinion on how I feel and what life
is about. One thing we do not realize is how fast days, months and
years go by. Being 81, I sometimes sit back and contemplate what
happened. I cannot believe it went by so fast. After 30 years of
hard labor back in the old country and 50 years here, you cannot
believe how much you have gone through and how much you have
learned from experiences.

Being 81, I sometimes sit back and contemplate what happened. I cannot believe it went by so fast. After 30 years of hard labor back in the old country and 50 years here, you cannot believe how much you have gone through and how much you have learned from experiences.
Sometimes you wonder if the good times pay for the bad times. We have been leading simple lives. No credit cards because we believe if you do not have it, you do not buy what you do not need. Simple as that!
With credit cards it is easy come, easy go. You don’t realize your coffers are dry. With cash you always know how much is left. I am sure many of you have agreed with me. The ones who do not will realize when their pockets get dry.
We learn much from each other. We can sense who is doing well and would be smart to follow. Also, there are those you have to ignore because they are jealous or whatever it is that makes it so they cannot give you a welcome with a handshake or a smile. They cannot help but show their guilty faces.
Always thanks to the ones who salute you with a shake of a hand or a smile. It makes life easier for everybody. After all, life is short. I have an answer for a friend of mine who criticized me because I write with the words in the wrong places. I write with what I have. With all the school you have, I do not see you doing any better. Thanks to all the good ones and good luck to all the others. This is only my opinion.
